Jeremy Hills
When it comes to bike racing, Jeremy Hills is a shocker! He doesn't have a great long list of titles, but he has shocked a number of elite cyclists who considered themselves the fastest men in the sport.
He's quick, seriously quick. Not all the time, but he is capable on occassion, of pulling something out that is quite simply astoundingly fast.
If you're a Strava follower... and you know Napolean Street in Battery Point, you'll also know that an average speed of 29kmh is simply astonishing... especially when you know that he hadn't been training at all, and this was pure, natural talent.
That speed saw him win the 2009 St Kilda Criterium while riding for Praties.
Jeremy spent a couple of years racing in Belgium, which is probably the reason you might not have seen his name for a few years. He has also been completing a Building apprenticeship. Now he's back on the bike and working like a madman to get it shape... to ensure that he's there at the end to unleash that speed.
